A Swansea independent reseller of IT products has won approved supplier status on a multimillion-pound contract following a tender process set out by the Welsh Government.
Comcen Computer Supplies, which was founded in 1982, has become a preferred supplier for all public sector organisations throughout Wales.
The two-year agreement to supply audio-visual (AV) and IT products also has the option for a further two-year extension.
Martin Casey, director of Comcen’s AV division, said: “Comcen has a long history of successfully supplying products and services to the public sector throughout the UK, the addition of this framework will expand our operations further in the AV space.
“We have already been preferred suppliers to a number of public sector organisations for a number of years, now with the formation of this new framework it will give a larger number of Welsh public sector bodies access to our market leading products and services.”
