Technology

From a marketing perspective understanding technology and keeping up with the latest digital trends is vital. Ensuring that Comcen have the platforms necessary for modern communications and using data for decision making is key when striving to meet customer and employee expectations.

Working for Comcen I have enjoyed gaining a deeper understanding of technology in the workplace and I have been very impressed with how tech can increase productivity and enhance the lives of end-users. Seeing technology improve patient care, education and collaboration has been very inspiring.

As a personal interest I love to see how new innovations can improve people’s lives, climate change, safety and fun. It is taking us further that we have been before from the deepest parts of the ocean to the next galaxy. I can’t wait to see where it will take us next…

Working at Comcen

As Head of Marketing for Comcen my goal has been to create a digital presence for Comcen with a trusted website and eCommerce platform.

Researching how technology is impacting different sectors and gaining an understanding of the new innovations are shaping different sectors has been the best part of my role.

Staying up to date with the latest business technology

I have been very impressed with the frequency of on-site training from Suppliers and Distributors. I have learned so much from the Q&As asked by the Sales Team it really puts the tech into context from both IT infrastructure and end-users perspectives.

The exhibitions have amazed me. BETT, ProcureX, Technology Expo and Tech Data to name a few have wowed me with displays of new innovations to improve teaching and learning, health care and business productivity.

Personal and Professional Motivations

Camping with my family in the great outdoors makes me happy. Seeing my son happy makes me very happy.

In work, launching the new brand and websites will make me very happy! Along with linking digital platforms such as social media and google analytics, to analyse the outcome of marketing campaigns for future direction.
